Nitrous oxide is a conscious sedation technique, which means you will be responsive and conscious, but deeply relaxed and less aware of sensations. You may not remember much of your procedure after it is complete. The effects of nitrous oxide wear off very quickly, so you can leave our Cambridge dental clinic soon after your procedure is finished without feeling drowsy.
